So I like the length of this chapter but I couldn't get the battle in. That will be during the next chapter.

Chapter 54: Preparing to Fight
That battle would happen to be fought on the planet Kessel, a well-known one known for its mining operations for spice, Kesselstone, and Coaxium. The third item was the most important as it was quiet the powerful hyperfuel. Just a little of it could power an entire fleet of starships. That was why it was important to make sure the Separatists didn’t make a mining operation on the planet. At this point in time, the Pyke Syndicate hadn’t fully gained control of the mining operations on the planet which explained how some of the Separatists forces had managed to set up their own mining operations much like they had on Crait. Only this time the stakes were higher if they managed to get any amount of Coaxium. The Jedi Council had instructed Nicholas and Huraz-Alaz to go in there and disrupt the mining operations again. Except this time, there was talk of there being a general of some kind. It wasn’t known if it was Grievous, but the battle would be different than it had been on Crait. That’s why Nicholas didn’t mind as it had been awhile since he and his clones had fought alongside Huraz-Alaz. And who knew; perhaps the republic could get some Coaxium out of this assuming it didn’t explode.
The Republic Cruisers the two Jedi had made it with their armies to the planet Kessel. “What’s the situation down there?” Nicholas asked.
“Sir, we’ve found the location of the enemy mine,” came the reply. “It seems to be heavily fortified.”
“Let’s see if we can come up with a plan,” Huraz-Alaz said.
It was decided that since a bombardment of the planet was a bad idea, it would be better to take as many vehicles as possible and launch an attack to destroy only the Separatist mine and leave the others alone. While the main force would engage the outside forces, a team with the Jedi would go on the inside and disrupt the place from the inside. Commander Hance and Commander Bruce would lead the majority of clones while Nicholas, Huraz-Alaz, Captain Wolf, and Captain Namor would lead the team inside. By this point, the Vulptex he owned, Shadow and Diana, while the ones she owned, Diamond and Gen, had begun to learn to squeeze into spaces the bigger beings couldn’t go into and find other ways around or take out electrical wiring with their teeth in such a way that the animals wouldn’t get hurt. In a place such as these, the Vulptex would be really helpful. And with the bond they had with their Jedi, they were quickly learning fast. It was also due to how smart they were.
The forces landed on the planet, some using the large amounts of Kessoline that was being released to cloud their movements. The scouts had reported the location and size of the mine, showing that surrounding it was a heavily fortified fort like structure. It wouldn’t be easy taking it out. Looking showed there were droid guards and turrets on the place as well. The Jedi and their group were observing the place. “Just like on Hoth,” Huraz-Alaz commented at one point. “It’s like we’re doing the same thing there with breaking and entering along with dealing with a mine like on Crait.”
“Funny, I had that same thought,” Nicholas said with a grin. “But the stakes are much higher.”
“Sir, you may want to look at this,” one of the clones then said and handed over the binocular tools that the Republic used. The male Jedi looked where the trooper pointed.
He saw some kind of railing and walkway. Magnaguard Droids could be seen and by this point these Jedi knew they were called that. With them appeared to be a figure Nicholas figured was the general leading the forces here. But there was also another one wearing black and a cloak. And the face was all too familiar. “Uh-oh…” the human said.
“What is it?” Huraz-Alaz asked.
“You’re not going to like what I just saw.” She looked and the Nelvaanian gasped.
“It’s…”
“Yeah, Count Dooku is here. He must be seeing how things are going.”
“What do we do; we can’t just abandon this mission,” Huraz-Alaz stated.
“No, but taking on Dooku might get us killed.” The male human closed his eyes while thinking. “I’m going to contact the temple about this.”
They soon had some of the Council members up online and explained who they had seen. “We can’t call this off Masters, but me and Huraz-Alaz definitely can’t defeat Dooku,” Nicholas finished. “We can stall maybe, but we’re going to need help.”
“Agreed; send others, we will,” Yoda replied.
“May the Force be with you,” Mace said and the transmission was cut.
“Well at least we’ve got a shot now at this,” the male human said to the female Nelvaanian.
“I feel better,” she commented. “And if Dooku is still in there, we need to do whatever we can to just survive and stall for time.” This was told to all the troops so they were also in on this. Now it was just a matter of waiting a little before launching the attack to wait for the reinforcements. Then the time finally came to begin this battle. And it would be quiet the glorious one as Nicholas and Huraz-Alaz, plus their forces, were fighting to win a victory for the Republic.

And I can't wait to do that one.
