Ran is a bit of a wanderer, and his journey sometimes leads him to some odd places. No matter where he ends up though, he's always happy to take a job and chill out for a while to earn some more money before he moves on in his helpful meanderings around the world. This is what lead him to passing through Starton, and after some mild shenanigans he ended up taking a job at the Comet Casino where he was placed with another Sylveon to work as a dealer.
Unfortunately for the cheeky Raveena, he found out his tricks don't work on Ran thanks to his ability to Type:Dark and ignore hypnosis. It didn't stop the other fairy from trying for a while, to the point that it became a bit of a running joke between them for a bit. They do make a cute pair dealing cards at the tables, though.
Don't worry, Raveena, Ran might take you out for drinks and to hypnotise cute boys later!
