Slow and steady -- and thorough.

Having done a lot of repair work over the years I've learned to take my time do the job right the first time that way if the customer comes back and complains it's not my doing it's something else

My brother was the same way when he was an automechanic for several years. The flat-rate mechanics would power through their jobs and the junk would come back. My brother would fix them and they'd stay fixed. Now he does two-way radio, and forty-odd years later, he still works that way. His boss loves it, and when he's in the area and he's not busy, they sit side-by-side in my brother's workroom and crank out radios that work.

In a number of different fields I've worked I have seen that same thing hurry up get it done and then it comes back and it's hurry up get it done then they take it to another shop have it fixed
