Sly just pulled off a big heist, the only ever successfully recovered sample of water from the legendary Fountain of Youth, and the foxy Interpol inspector was hot on his trail, firing shot after shot from her stun gun. Sly did his best to dodge and swing out of harms way as he always did, but didn't count on a rusty piece of scaffolding giving way on him, causing him to drop onto the roof of one of the buildings below him. There was a crash, and Carmelita feared the worst as she hurried to the spot where she'd thought he'd hit, only to see a pile of broken glass: the bottle he'd taken was shattered, nothing but a puddle and broken glass. Cursing her luck and fearing the report she'd have to write for this, the seasoned agent wasn't prepared for what else she found. Groaning and wincing some, she'd located her long time target, but not quite as she'd expected to find him. Slightly banged up from the fall, his shirt was soaked through, no doubt from when the bottle broke, but instead of the cunning thief she'd pursued for so many years, she found a young boy in an oversized hat and shirt, the trademark cane of the Cooper clan lying on the ground in front of him. Looking scared and confused, the boy's eyes teared up as he started to cry, leaving the vixen lawwoman at a loss for words. Hearing the sirens in the distance, signalling the local authorities were coming, Carmelita made a split second decision: scooping up the crying boy with one arm and taking his cane in the other, she darted across the roof and down a fire escape with him, not even having a plan of what to do next...
