Apart from being a sorcerer when in anthro form, he also has times when he just becomes his fierce feral form, for a variety of reasons.

Which of the two is his true form? ask him, and he will never answer, rather wanting you to come up with your own theories (which likely are wrong too)

Having lived a long time, he doesn't trust a lot of people due to his experiences, and doesnt hold the highest opinions, though if you gain his trust, he will do his all to help you in whatever way he can, especially when it comes to scholarly pursuits.

That is, if he doesnt just scare you off with his feral form first :D
