Kimli is a garter snake thaumaturgist. Thanks to her lack of stature, she doesn't necessarily have the aura to outright cast spells without tools and hefty framework to help her. Kim's ambition to expand her talent has included looking for magic items and locations. The one that's left the most obvious mark on her is the crown she acquired, which then exploded, magically affixing parts of itself to her. The wondrous power it once held is now hers innately, but it does come with a cost from the being supplying energy for said new spell-like ability.
