Something I did last week to try and keep my artistic momentum going.

Trying to stick to the idea of drawing females more often, I decided to take a crack at drawing one of my favorite Sonic girls in the entire series, Tikal the Echidna.

After her playable appearance in SA2, I was always under the impression that while she hated fighting, she still knew how to. How couldn't she when she's daughter to the chief of a tribe explicitly known for their martial arts mastery?

I wanted to go for a somewhat complex and elegant looking fighting stance just to give myself some extra challenge and somehow ended up going for a pose from Drunken Boxing. For the record, if it were up to me to give her an actual fighting style, I'd go with something very fancy and smooth looking like Piguaquan or T'ai chi ch'üan.

I may or may not come back to this. Just ran out of juice on it for the moment.
