I always find it hard to draw characters so that they look consistent from picture to picture... I guess it's a common problem for most people.

nah, eye was years earlier, to an adventurer who's party actually made it into the middle of her lair, to her astonishment.

He was trying to stab up into her throat, but she pulled her head back just in time

again, depends on clerics, and of what deity: a high level cleric of Chi'thon would probably use a combination of create lava to melt the entrances to all the caves on the surface, and then use earthquake to collapse the tunnels to force them out into the sea, where he could have his way with them.

Low level would involve several clerics combining abilities to best effect, probably a combination of charmed sealife to keep ships from bringing any supplies and keeping away food, starve them out, then charming some of the gnolls on the surface to use as minions.

And that's if they're *good* clerics... the evil ones.. eh, I dunno if we'd want to go there.
