Had a great visit with
zippy he let me play in his yard with his pets, and let me bring out a couple toys!
Needed to do a little cleanup for the shoot. Good thing Puffypaws paint is immune to 91% isopropyl!
Oops, a little too early to take a picture of Thistle!

That was my biggest concern I made sure to test another area, just to be safe. My H toys strip with alcohol, which might prove an opportunity in disguise. My cheapo Walmart paint seems to stick fairly well to their vinyl, so I might do some retouching.
I really want to repaint thistle's legs, but it looks like the current paint formula is a lot more tenacious!
All the stuff I have from JetCreations, paint is missing because of abrasion more than anything else! =^^=

I did some experimentation here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/31734279/
So far, three months out the Apple Barrel paint I got for $.50 at Walmart is holding up real well! Best results were reached with the toy deflated, washed in 91% alcohol, and I airbrushed the paint diluted with about 25% alcohol. I needed to use little ball bearings to mix the paint, as it did not mix well with the alcohol. thinning with water made it run too much.
Painting with a brush worked OK, but that eats up paint a lot faster...
