Jewel of the Setting Sun
"It will not be long now before the sun gives way to the night... How would you like to spend it?"
Welp, this is by far the most long-anticipated piece of art I've ever gotten. After waiting literally a year and a half as the artist struggled with RL issues before finally going AWOL for months on end, I was left with a (mostly) finished art piece that just needed a few finishing touches before it was ready for submission. We had worked on this piece very closely together, with me even going so far as to illustrate edits for much of the process. As all attempts at reaching out to her had ended in radio silence, I had decided that putting a couple visual effects on the piece for completion's sake would be perfectly acceptable- especially with that watermark still there, and the fact she had tried offering me a full refund last Christmas...
BUT! In an unexpected turn of events, I had found out that Dei had managed to produce the piece! After I had sent off one last message letting her know I was finishing the piece myself, she replies back the very next day informing me that she worked her pants off to finish it. This submission has since been updated to show her newer, more detailed version! In light of everything, I am extremely glad to have been able to get this piece finished, and proudly endorse her for all the amazing effort she put into this piece. Of all the artists who drew Canon Doc, she was definitely the most devoted to getting every single detail right! I can't thank her enough for her dedication; this piece is definitely the crown jewel of her entire portfolio (and my own FA gallery) to date!
