This composition is a tribute to Lucario and Riolu, two of my most favorite Pokemon. The tom drum roll in the background was inspired by the rhythms in the beginning scenes of Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. The chorus arpeggio is inspired by the main synth motif from "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey, and the "aura sphere" sound effect is the result of tinkering with cross-modulation in Arturia Jupiter 8V, a software synthesizer inspired by the legendary Roland Jupiter-8, which was produced from 1981 to 1985.
