Yes and no, I told her about the head strap popping off, but not about the seams, yet, as I plan on getting it redone with the new markings.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
Fit: Near perfect fit, I will need to add some more chin padding to make the jaw more accurate.
Ventilation: As great as ventilation as you can get, air can circulate through if I open the mouth. Condensation is intense when worn for quite a long time.
Vision: As great as as vision can get. I can see through the mouth if I open the jaw wide enough. I can even drive with it on with little hindrance.

There is no lining or a balaclava attached, so I absolutely will have to wear something to keep the backing from touching my skin and of course sweat from getting on the fur.


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The symmetry is great from the ears to the face markings.
The ears do tend to fall back instead of stand up normally.
Shaving is choppy on the front base of the ears, but other than that, everything flows great.
Fur is super soft and easy to brush to look nice and fluffy again.
Edge of the fur glued onto the base shows, but I have no idea if that's even possible to hide, especially given the design and fur color.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
Hands are comfortable to wear but are not lined, so I had to buy some gloves to keep the backing from touching my skin (i have sensitive skin ^^;)
Also crafted to be made versatile, so one paw can fit either hand perfectly without looking weird.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The front of the fur is pretty choppy, in my opinion
She did point out an oops with one of the hand's pad's fur, it was sewn on in the different direction than the rest of the pads.
Fur is the same material as the head's fur (shag and mink)

How was your concept art realized?
She was all for the idea that I had and was VERY helpful with bringing my vision to life as well as very communicative. Nothing was simplified, she kept up with any changes she made and explained why she did it and how it made sense.


How well does everything fit together and match up?
Overall, I'm actually really happy with the pieces, especially considering she has never furred a skull piece before. Everything fits perfectly save for the jaw, but that was a given anyway. I already knew that the head strap may fall apart as I am pretty rough with skull, so I don't knock it against her, but the seams coming apart is a bit surprising. As stated before, I haven't brought it up to her yet, so whether she would be up to fixing that in general is up in the air.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Super easy to contact. I posted in a Facebook group if anyone was up for furring a DVC skull base and their prices and she popped up. I messaged her and everything went from there.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
Super fast response time and very communicative with progress, when she's taking a break, when she'll pick back up, etc.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Very pleasant and comical person to work with. I felt like I mattered and was kept up to date on everything, including multiple W.I.P throughout the day, even when I was super busy.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I had asked if it was possible to finish before Halloween, she was upfront and said she could try but not promise. I wasn't upset by it, it was a question more than a request, which is why I put 'no due date.' She started, I believe, the beginning-middle of October and did finish it before Halloween, but due to lame USPS, it didn't arrive until a day after the service said (totally not her fault). Tracking was provided.


Are you happy with the product you received?
Overall quality, expectations were exceeded and the price I paid was absolutely worth it. The paws were thrown in for free, which was amazing. Everything is the best quality her crafting experience can provide and I'm very happy with it.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I have pretty much said all I have in previous comments. Hiero is a great maker. She communicates very well, she double, even triple, checks to make sure she's providing the best craft for the piece she's working on; very funny and fun to work with, and overall a great person. She is forever improving and I cannot wait for her to get more cool projects like my skull.
