It looks like they are about to give the term "fox hunt" an entirely new meaning...
(OK, I know that they are wolves, but I just couldn't resist making that comment.)
The canid genome project has shown that of the 19,000 genes in the wolf genome, humans have 14,200 of them (out of about 20,000 human genes). More in my Journal article.
