"...Why a stone statue still needs armor if it was made of stone?"
A 'remake' of a miniboss called Eyegore from The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
The Eyegores' sprite/model changes in different Zelda game, so do in Majora's Mask. This type of Eyegore is, as far as I know, exclusively for Majora's Mask in N64, which was a period of 'make things polygon to save resources for console'. (Well that didn't change even Nintendo remaked Majora's Mask to 3DS.)
I tried my best to figure out which part of its body will look like based on the ingame model, which I can say the most 'polygonlized' enemy through the entire game. And... Jesus I was turned it into an armor....
Eyegore has a very weird color on its body, I know how to paint that excessive fading colors like its ingame model with tranditional pigments but I don't know how to paint that with SAI.
