dumb stuff - new fangled transformers collection
MLP figures isnt the only thing I have been collecting. I have gotten into some of the new transformers sets. I really stayed far away from G1 stuff for a long time, but then in about 2010 or so the generations figures FINALLY looked kinda cool. However I still stayed away but then like 2016 the combiner wars set came out and you could build new versions of the super robots and I had to get back on board. I've gone back and got a few before that, but yeah. However I still dont get into the animated ones, even though alot of them look pretty cool, but I stay far away from the movie toys. They are horrible.
I have a smaller set of G! figures, but I'm not going to spam up stuff, if anyone wants to see I'll post later.
Anyone else collect a favorite toy? Let us know!

I have the Volcanicus set, though in my opinion Hasbro could've made them a lot better. Then again, I've said the same thing with the TR line and their insistence on including Galvatron when he didn't need to be there, when they already had two characters that were perfect for that, Ape Face and Snapdragon, that we're only just now getting in the Siege line. Ape Face and Snapdragon were not only triple-changers, but headmasters, which is exactly what the gimmick was for the Voyagers of the TR line.
~sighs~ That's a rant for another day, though. Nice collection!

Actually, they were all in the cartoon (all the ones I'm aware of, anyway), just towards the very end of the series. Brainstorm, Chrome Dome, Hardhead and Highbrow, the Decepticon Triple-changer/monstercon headmasters Ape Face and Snapdragon, the Autobot double headmaster Fortress Maximus and the Decepticon headmaster base Scorpinok were all in the series just at the end. They were all in the three-part 'The Rebirth' arc, that ended the series with a new golden age for Cybertron.
And yeah, it sucks that there's no Blitzwing or Octane in the new line, but they could come out with them later. Who knows. I'm just glade that the new Astrotrain looks tons better than the one for the TR line. Which reminds me, I need to see if I can hop onto TFSource one of these days and get TR Blitzwing and Octane (I know they called him Octone, but that's stupid and I'm not going to call him that), but that will have to wait a couple of years.
I'm going to a con at the end of the month (my 'consolation prize' anime con, since I couldn't go to Naka-Kon this year), I'm going to Naka-Kon next March so I'll need to start saving in Sep, *and* I need to make payments on my ER and PT bills starting next month, so I'll have to wait until at least next April before I do anything.
