Dog:
Pros - Will be faithfully waiting for you to come home, and when you're home, you feel so happy to know that they're "assaulting" you with a very happy tone. And high-spirited oldies are almost the same as if they were pups.

Cons - You just can't leave'em for a long time/distance. You will feel broken-hearted.


Cons:
Pros - As long as you're not over-treating them, they could stand on their own and they could go on and off and you don't really need to feel scared. They could climb almost ANYTHING for their life. They could take care of themselves.

Cons - You know they purr you because they just want food. As they got old, they will be less playful and you will feel much neglected anyway =_=;

One of my cats actually used the kitchen sink as a toilet once so that's another plus for cats :P but otherwise all around funny.

not all cats drink from the toilet, we had one that only was interested int the toilet because when you flushed it the water moved ><; she also pushes her water dish around so she can watch it swish and dives in and out of rolly chairs to make them spin ^^;

Entertainment Value-

Dogs will take a headlong run down the hallway toward the wide open front door, only to realize at the last split second that you've installed a glass storm door and have a one-dog pile-up collision!

Cats will stand in one spot in the room, leap perfectly vertical for no reason, then go tearing through the house with their tail fluffed up to four times the size of their body!


Cuddling-

Dogs will be more than happy to curl up in your lap, even if they're the size of the couch you're sitting on!

Cats will curl up in your lap if they detect the slightest mental hint of your getting up to do something important (such as using the restroom!)


Attention, Get!-

Dogs will sit and wistfully gaze at you in the hope you'll get up from whatever you're doing to play with them!

Cats will jump up on the desk, sit on the keyboard and demand your full and undivided attention to the commencement of throwing the ball that they've left right under your foot!


Floor Hazards-

Dogs will park themselves in any of inconvenient locations in the house that either prevent a door from being opened, or create a trip hazard at three in the morning when one has to get a glass of water!

Cats will dart right in front of you and stop dead at your feet when you're descending the stairs!


Feeding Time-

Dogs will approach with the grace and subtlety of a Union Pacific freight train and bounce around like Tigger until the food dish is safely on the ground, then devour everything in two seconds!

Cats will wind themselves tightly around your ankles as you attempt to move toward the food bin, hover directly over their dish as you attempt to pour in the food, then either sniff at it for two hours before eating anything when you're not around, OR eat everything in one mouthful then leave kitty presents everywhere later on!

Tabitha will do that, and with her girth (ie, bowling ball) it just about requires heavy-lift machinery to relocate her XD
