The other side of Hemlock, the one we've gotten to see of her most so far. Who it is she's threatening and whether or not the poor sap is getting out of this little pickle he's gotten himself I'll leave entirely up to you. I'm still trying to figure out what it is I have with Hemlock as a character, but wth, right? It's all in my head in the end.
One of those things I said I had in there and needed to drain out. Spent far too much time on it yesterday and feel shitty for it, but as friends and my mate have reminded me, it's not wasted time if you learned something, and learn I did indeed.
This was originally supposed remain in sketch and be longer and be entirely different thematically, but this is what it turned out to be and I'm not going to apologise for it. I'm not going to say I'm stopping this now either, because I would be lying - that is, unless Teag steps on my toes and outright tells me to cut that shit out 9.9

I like that she's keeping her elbows tucked in, keeps them from being exposed and also shields her armpits. The expression is pretty good too, guessing by how her lead hand isn't far from the warhead that said poor sap probably has their back to a wall too.

That was the idea anyway, but as I said, I'll leave the specifics up to you folks (and Teag).
I'm sure Hemlock actually has quite the advantage with a spear. Considering how agile rabbits are, she probably coulda had Rask in that river even without tossing a stone at him.

Seriously, this proves that animation is at its best when subtle. Nothing but simple natural movements, some so small you have to really look for them. Very well done. And I'm glad I''m not the only one that Hemlock has kind of grown on.

I feel animation has generally come into disrepute since the onset of the 3D age. Not that there aren't enough people out there who appreciate it, but for some reason it doesn't seem to see a revival of interest from anyone.
And no, you're not the only one. For various reasons, I'm still hoping she will develop a kinder side through some arcs, or at least show the same to Rask. I'm sure she's friendly enough with everyone else 9.9
