History
Born into a life in servitude, Midori didn't have an easy upbringing. However, he showed a great talent with the sword and was trained in secret by a skilled stranger wandering the rural areas of Japan. When a bandit lord attacked and killed his village, he "snapped".
the stranger turned out to be Thaddeus in disguise and he used the traumatized boys mind to blame Viktor for this slaughter. He then offered the boy a way to become stronger through a long meditation (Cryosleep) during which Thaddeus implants and enhancments done to the boy.
Thaddeus then let him out of cryosleep just in time for the boy to see the bombings of Japan during WW 2 and blaming it on Viktor.
