Darren Rodriguez is a football player and a member of the illustrious Arcanists, the same team on which Richard and Alex play. He's a giant goof with a playful side to him, a nice counterbalance to Richard and Alex, both of whom are his friends. Having four stomachs means he has quite the appetite, and while he can't eat meat like the other members of the team, he certainly makes up for it by always chowing down on some plant-based protein snack.
Being the trusting individual that he is, Darren is quick to accept a lovely sweet roll from Richard, unaware that the tiger sabotaged the delicious delight with an extra ingredient: a tiny, hapless mage who is trying to escape from this world of giants. Danathius tries desperately to get Darren's attention, but it seems the big bull is too focused on eating to notice... Poor Danathius!
