Today, we look at not one character, but one character in countless bodies, it's Voe!
Hopefully I can describe him to you in a concise manner.

-Voe is a hivemind in a more evolved sense, completely decentralized and essentially "created" from the interlinking minds of each drone. The closest comparison I can think of is a multicellular creature, with specialized bodies taking care of individual tasks, but on the level and scale of a civilization.

-A drone is a physical body, it is devoid of any upper neural activity until it's connected to the Voe hivemind. Without a hivemind, or any sort of external consciousness, the drone will appear comatose, but otherwise alive as involuntary functions are handled by the lower brain functions of the drone.

-The hivemind is a sort of network created from the interlinking of all the drones, and thus has the collective intelligence and knowledge of each drone. Voe itself isn't any individual drone, but all of them collectively, the same way you can't pare yourself down to an individual cell.

-The horns on any drone seem to be a means of connecting to the greater hivemind, though the method is unknown, even to Voe. A greenness to the eyes and horns is a side effect of a drone influenced by Voe.

-Voe identifies as a male in conversation, and has a great degree of knowledge and cunning required to essentially build a civilization by himself, undoubtedly acquired throughout many lifetimes. While he does have a very elevated opinion of himself, perhaps rightfully so, he does seem to be rather respectful and curious of the world.

-Despite Voe being such an advanced being, he seems rather content and willing to serve others. Some say it's for partnership, others say it's a means of infiltration into the highest and most secretive ranks of the world, and even others say it's due to old kobold habits.

-Voe can reproduce with nearly anything, but the end result is the creation of more drones, meaning Voe is required to seek partners, often lavishing them and making them "queens" of their settlement.

-The most common kind of Voe drone are these Dark Red Painter Voe. While most drones are capable of doing any task, but are specialized in one aspect or another, painter drones seem to work just about everywhere and are responsible for marking up their fellow drones, environments, and partaking in Voe's various artistic hobbies.

-Their speech center is a bit unrefined (a defect found in all drones not specialized for communication) and will seem to (correctly) refer to themselves in the third person.

-One of Voe's more peculiar hobbies is body painting, especially around the belly, and would often offer to paint visitors as well as selling their services in urban environments. They will also mark other drones up as well, though no two drones share the exact same markings.

-Voe suspects that due to the default nature of these drones, this might have been his original state. How he came to be from one of these creatures is lost to time for him.
