I just wanted to say, as a longtime fan and someone who loves your work, I created a Fur Affinity account after seeing nothing regarding Blade Under Mask for, well, let's just say a long ass time.
I searched high and low, found nothing on DeviantArt and subsequent websites and eventually they all pointed me here.
At first I tried reaching you through PM's but that proved fruitless like with the other websites.
So I scoured a bit and eventually I found your official post on the subject, and I'm glad you wrote it.
I'm an artist myself, though in a different way. I understand the stress and anxiety that comes with this and I'm glad you've chosen to merely put it on a hiatus rather than outright cancelling it. I'm a writer and was absolutely absorbed in what you weaved and I know that when these kinds of situations arise, most people simply opt to give up entirely. I've done that myself several times before.
I know you're probably sick of hearing about it being brought up, I just wanted to say that out of hundreds of artists I subscribe to for creative material or general viewing, you're hands down my favorite.
Stay strong Mantis, I'll be eagerly awaiting your return to your staple, whenever that may be. Regardless of what you choose to do, your work is on a completely different playing field from your contemporaries.
For now I'll dip into your newer story and see what that's all about. Stay strong.
PS: I'm sorry for writing this on one of your unrelated works. It was pretty difficult finding a means of reaching you and I wanted to make sure that you got this. I have nothing but respect for your work and I'm not usually one to seek people out to openly praise them on things.

"Return to her staple"? That... Is extremely assumptive of what her staple is. Could it, perhaps, be that her staple has evolved into her Timeless setting? Considering it took you so long to find anything regarding Blade Under Mask. She hasn't touched it in over a year and a half, and regardless of her saying it's on hiatus and not dropped entirely, it's on indefinite hiatus. With absolutely zero guarantee she'll ever have the desire to pick it up again - especially when folks ignore the beautiful things she's creating now, the amazing characters and stories she's crafting now, in favor of a story she dropped because it was making her sick.
