Dippin' Dots are thing of the past, ice cream made out of bees will be the ice cream of the future.

Currently up for voting at Threadless for two more days. Beeeessss, they make a great fudge ripple. Or not. The Threadless link has a version of this that's in color and on olive but most people seem to like this one-color version the best.

There are a total of 134 bees on the cone, each one is hand drawn. I kept starting and then stopping on the bees over and over, felt like it took forever. I made the cone by making and printing out a honeycomb pattern and rolling it into a cone shape and then taking some photos of it to get the perspective just right. I tried to draw it by hand but i just kept bothering me. If you can't tell... I may be slightly obsessive compulsive. =P
