He reminds me of the iguanas that used to hang around the lake by the rookerie where I work. Unfortunately, the past 4 days of cold weather down here pretty much killed them all. We had about 36 of them, including 3 huge 4 foot long ones... no more. There was a CNN report about them a couple of days ago.
Yeah! I saw a story about that on the news this morning: that the low temperatures were paralyzing all the reptiles living in the rivers and along the shoreline. There's some frantic rescue efforts going on all over the place there but I'm afraid there are too few people who care to save very many.
Well, glad you like them!! (the cheeks I mean!!) Actually, I cheated a little: I pushed his tail what would be, normally for him, too far forward and that's what gave me room to slip in both sides of his butt! Anatomically it may not be right but if it makes YOU happy then why not?!
