So here I love how the story is longer. Also for this pic since it's night, me and Sakura's white fur is now black due to the shadows. Since there's hardly any light that's why.

Kitsune Love
To The Leaders
The group looked out from their hiding spots and saw the cost was clear. “It doesn’t make sense for all of us to go,” Nicholas decided. “Maybe perhaps we can have some scout the area out. After that, others of us who are fast and nimble can look around.”
“I’m sure one of us can slip around just fine,” Mavis said. “I’ll go first and check things out.”
“Just make sure to keep a low profile,” Izuna commented. She transformed into her bat form after hugging her loved ones and quickly left.
“Your turn Drac,” Nicholas said. He nodded and left in a hurry to in his bat form.
Soon both father and daughter vampire were back. “It’s not bad out there but they have lights to spot things,” the older male said. “I nearly got caught with them!”
“Lights huh, that’ll make things tricky,” Nicholas growled.
“I learned where your friends are kept,” Mavis then commented to Izuna. “One of them is in the upper levels in some tower area and the other in some kind of cellar area.”
“I know where they are now,” the male Enju stated. “If we can bust both of them out, they’ll be a great help with finding what we need to cross those pits.”
“So a rescue in addition to finding,” Sakura said. “I guess rescuing them comes first.”
It was decided the two kitsunes would go with the Enju and free the one down in the cellar. The three left the hiding spot and saw what Dracula had said about the lights was true. But there weren’t as many enemy Enju around the place. It seemed the ones for the army the group had seen gathered were now on standby in a different area. A few guards were patrolling the area. For those that weren’t fighting, they had to be inside as it was night. “This place has changed since I was last here,” Nicholas said softly as the three were hiding behind a wall and looking.
“You’ve been here before?” Sakura asked.
“Yeah it’s how I formed friendships with Izuna and his friends here. Of course it was during the daytime and not sneaking in. Unlike the village which has changed very little I can see this place has with fortifications and expansion in general. Add the hostility, and you can see why I said it was different.”
“Maybe when this is over I can show you and the others around,” the male Enju commented.
“Let’s move, I think it’s safe,” Sakura then said.
The trio continued with Izuna leading the way. Thanks to that, they made it to the cellar where the first of the held Enju was located that would help. And it didn’t take long to find them in a cell with bars. It was a male Enju but his fur was grey with long black colored hair and a black pattern of fur over his eyes that made it look like he was wearing a mask. The person looked up and got a grin of delight. “Nicholas and Izuna!” the male said. He got up from the bench here and up to the bars.
The three in the group went up to him and the two who knew him did fist bumps. “It’s great to see you’re well Tujik,” the male Kitsune commented.
“You’ve got to get me out of here fast,” the Enju being held captive stated. “I overheard some things and it doesn’t seem good.”
“Sure, but how?” Sakura asked.
“It looks as if this still has one of the locks I remember seeing when first coming here,” Nicholas commented, looking at the door handle to the cell. “It’s a simple one, it require me to hit it with wind in a certain way. And judging by the color I know how much I need to put into it.”
The guy focused and hit the lock. It clicked and the door opened, allowing Tujik to step out. “I would have done that myself but that cell is made of materials that cut off my power,” he explained. “Despite the design of the lock, it worked for holding me here.”
“Izuna said you can help us reach the leaders by crossing those pits,” Nicholas then said.
“Oh those,” the rescued Enju commented. “Yeah I certainly can.” From his clothing, the guy pulled out some long coiled length of ropes. “We’ll need these with the machine that will help.”
“Brilliant!” his friend stated. “How’d you keep it hidden?”
“I hid it away in my clothes quickly before I was taken here. They didn’t really check me but they took away my katana that I used.”
“Maybe we can find it,” Sakura said.
“Perhaps, and I can use a temporary one until then if we should find one lying around,” Tujik stated. “Now let’s get out of here.”
The four left the cellars and indeed did find a katana for the newest member to use. But it was on the way back, the group noticed something when they passed a small toy that used the wind to spin its propellers. They saw the wind blow it due to it being colored. And it was cyan and red mixed with black. “What is this?” Nicholas asked.
“It looks like wind but you can’t see it,” Sakura commented.
“Not normal wind, let’s look closer.”
“It feels different,” Tujik said. “It’s like a chill to me.”
“I feel that way to about it,” Izuna commented. “This isn’t normal. It’s like… some kind of corruption.
“I wonder if this has anything to do with how the rest of the Enju are acting weird,” Nicholas said. “I guess we can ask your leaders about this.”
They made it back and introductions were done all around. They explained what they had found. It didn’t sound good to the others and the last Enju had to be rescued. The three from before went out. This time they climbed up and so far no alarms had been sounded. “I guess Tukij’s guarding wasn’t a high propriety,” Sakura suggested.
“The other Enju guards must have had other duties,” Nicholas said.
The three made their way up the tower that Mavis had talked about. They made it to a top window with bars to find a female Enju sitting on a bed. She looked up and her eyes lit up seeing Izuna. “It’s you!” the female whispered with happiness.
She and him went up to the window with bars, touching the other’s face with love and affection. “Aw, that’s sweet,” Sakura said softly.
“Yeah, if we weren’t in such a dangerous situation,” Nicholas hissed.
“We’ll get you out honey, I promise,” the male Enju said to the one behind bars, kissing her fingers.
“You can get to my room by a different side window,” the female said. “Hurry!”
The group found it and got it opened, allowing her to come out. She fell into his arms and they snuggled. Nicholas cleared his throat with amusement and the two loving Enjus looked to him. “I hate to interrupt your touching reunion with him Sabu,” the male kitsune stated. “But can’t it wait when we’re not in such danger?”
“Right, sorry,” she replied with a grin. “It’s good to see you again Nicholas.”
“We’ve already got Tujik safe,” Sakura explained to the new Enju in the group.
“Good. Oh and of course we’ll need these.” The female brought out some pully like objects from her clothes. “I snagged these before I was thrown in that room. I couldn’t use my powers at all while in there.”
“Let’s move,” Izuna then said.
The group began to descend down. But their journey was stopped for a moment when Sakura spotted something ahead. “Hide!” she hissed and the four ducked behind a wall to see two enemy Enju talking.
“It won’t be long now,” the first stated. “We’re almost finished preparing.”
“Those humans don’t stand a chance,” the second said. “We’ll overwhelm them! First we’ll knock out that village below the mountain. Once there we can launch our attack on the kitsunes nearby!”
“And then once we have that city of them in our grasps, we can launch our attack anywhere we want! Making them and the humans do what we want!” The guards let out laughs before moving.
“This is no fucking joke,” Nicholas growled. “This is really bad.”
Sakura was shocked the kitsune would curse like that. But the situation was that serious. “We need to stop them for sure,” she said.
On the way back, another katana was picked up for Sabu who didn’t have hers. They made it back to the others and introductions were done again. The others learned Sabu was the girlfriend of Izuna and was more than happy to help reach the leaders. Especially after the rest learned what had been overheard. It was time to move and hopefully get some answers.

I would have done more, but the chapter was getting longer than what I wanted it to be. Next up the leaders of the Enju will be met.
