Of my new unicorn Diaval that my boyfriend adopted for me (he bought him from SerebroManeater~) there’s a story to go with it:
Late one night, you found yourself walking home along a supposed short-cut through the woods. The wind whispered in the trees while owls hooted softly from the branches above you. Every once in a while, you could swear you heard footsteps or something rustling in the underbrush just off the path.
Recent rumors had it that these woods were haunted. But you weren’t afraid of any ghosts...right?
You shook your head of the thought and kept walking, humming a cheerful tune as you went along down the path.
Suddenly, something caught your eye - a glint of light way off in the woods. As you watched, a multitude of peach-hued lights began to blink between the tree trunks, only visible when clouds covered the dim half moon.
Unease gripped your senses as you started to walk faster, treading lightly so as not to draw the attention of whatever it was that was making the lights.
For a while, the lights disappeared but you kept up your pace. You anxiously scanned the trees to the left and the right, but saw no sign of the strange apparition.
Suddenly your breath caught in your throat as you got the sense that something - or someone - was stalking you. The hair at the back of your neck raised as goose bumps prickled the skin on your arms.
You chanced a glance behind you and a startled gasp escaped your throat. The lights were directly behind you, a few feet back on the trail.
The peach lights suggested a skeletal outline of a ghastly horse with teal claws and sharp hooves. It’s blue tail lashed side to side as its mane rustled in the breeze. Four menacingly sharp teeth poked out from its skull below its unearthly purple, glaring eyes.
Your gaze fearfully traveled up its white face to its mane, where a deadly sharp and glowing horn jutted out from its skull - a spectral unicorn!
The hooved ghost let out an angry snort before it dashed toward you. You turned tail and ran as its thundering hoofbeats rang out in your ears.
Stumbling blindly in the dark wood, you tripped over a root and fell flat on the muddy trail. You turned on your rear and awkwardly crab-walked backward on your hands and feet as the demon lured over you.
As it came closer, you noticed that it was in fact made of flesh and blood, its lights glinting off the white skeletal markings contrasting with the barely noticeable black fur that covered its body. With the fur in sight, the creature seemed twice as large.
You cried out as it lunged forward and grasped your shoulders with its powerful blunt claws, and another light appeared inside it’s skull-patterned muzzle.
The teal glow of the creature’s maw stretched wide over you, peach-hued saber teeth gleaming above a tongue dripping with glowing saliva. You could see straight down its throat along its dimly glowing insides.
Strong paws gripped you as it thrust you into its hungry maw and the cool night air was replaced by the warm, squishy throat that enveloped you.
You began to struggle, kick, and scream as the ghostly unicorn forced you down its gullet. The creature grunted in delight as it seemed your struggling merely pulled your body further down its throat.
Your head squeezed down a tight passage before you slid into the monster’s stomach all at once. Your limbs stretched the stomach walls further and further as you curled up to fit inside the glowing, peach-colored organ.
You must have been a rather large meal for the creature, imagining its furry stomach to be stretched and distended around your frame.
As if to confirm your thought, you immediately felt the paws of the unicorn kneading at you through its flesh as it made several snorts and grunts of pleasure.
You wanted to be scared, terrified - you felt you should scream! But your panic was rapidly ebbing away as the pillowy walls massaged you from all possible angles. The soft gurgling of its stomach and beating of its heart somewhere above you were oddly comforting, and it beat walking through the dark and spooky forest…
Gentle hoofbeats sounded below you as your body began to gently shift from side to side, almost as though you were being rocked. It seemed the creature was walking, but you didn’t seem to care whether it was taking you back to its lair or to the other side of the forest.
In moments, you were rocked to sleep inside the glowing gut of the ghostly unicorn.
