Aww, poor kitten. That kind of thing always seems so tragic when you're little doesn't it? Everyone talks about the idylls of childhood, but I've always been struck by the comment that Terry Pratchett made in one of his books to the effect that childhood isn't simpler, but the world written in large, heavy letters where everything is more. And that's probably getting too deep for what's meant to be a cute, playful piece, and I don't mean it to. But that's kind of why I really like this kind of art from you. You capture the feeling of childhood as accurately as anyone I can think of, without the saccharine filter that adults often put on it. It's raw and real, both good and bad, and I think that makes your work so much more relatable.
