Another quick digital warm-up, about 25 minutes. Far from refined, but I'm trying a whole new approach. The original contained very solid brush strokes that I smoothed at the end but, to be honest, I wish I hadn't. So I left the quick undersketch in lightly instead. Nothing too refined here, just getting a feel.

You'll be seeing a lot more of him around again. For whatever reason I tried to pull out of such a darker mood, which is probably why my sketchbooks are emptier than they used to be. That happy-go-lucky or goofy shit just isn't me, or at least not in such large doses.
