A watercolor painting on hotpress illustration board. Was sold at MFF '06. This was inspired by a japanese woodcut I saw called the Hour of the Hare. So I made a wintery version :3 My caligraphy is atrocious and it actually says 'time of the bird' since a nonsensical literal translation. The writing is actually Chinese, not Japanese.
