interestingly when the first moon landing was attempted they were concerned the lander vehicle would just sink into the ground like soft snow, so they deliberately chose a rocky outcrop to park on.
..and then later found out the lack of wind on the lunar surface means all the soil is super sharp and abrasive :P Hope that snowboard has tough paint!! X3
Also love the detailing on this! Even not including the stars to replicate the exposure settings of a regular camera! <3

yeah I do remember reading that and why the designed the lander to accommodate if it was a big powder ball.
think the titanium edges should be able to hold up for a day's worth or riding at least :]
