The day rolled on, and the heat didn't subside, simply lounging about in the water wasn't enough. Donning a cap to help keep the heat off, she found herself a nice cold beverage and sipped away.
The heat however was taking it's toll, making the wolf pup grumpy as it refused to die down,
"I can't take anymore....please go away heat. Indoors, outdoors, I can't escape it"

Only a few more days and summer would soon start to subside.

This is a followup of sorts I got recently. Since a few weeks ago we had a heat wave here in Europe, I got some art to vent my frustrations with the unbearable heat. Fortunately since then it's been rather mild. I can only hope it stays that way until autumn rolls around.
