A very fun collab between 
Obelys and me.
It was a piece that we worked on, in 4 steps, because the concept of a painting collaboration piece seemed quite new to the both of us.
Normally I would just add the colors to the lineart, or do the lineart itself and then let the other artist do the coloring job, but this was.... different. Both wanted to approach the piece almost the same way.
So Obelys did the sketch first, then she passed it onto me, I refined the characters and a bit and the background and then passed it back onto her, then she worked out the details on her side and lastly I did some more lighting effects and added more details.
Phew! This took quite a long while to do, but it was really wonderful in the end to do, and I hope that one can notice both of our styles mixed together in this piece ^^.
I am also not at home (sadly for almost the entire vacation) so I had to work on the smallest tablet I own, one meant for OSU ( Huion H420) which is ridiculously small.

Its rare to see a collab where the artists really intermix the work, rather then each take a step at a time independently. Though you can see why, as it takes so so long. And if you don't get along with them, then it crashes and burns so hard.
You both did awesome work! I will admit to not seeing a lot of either person's work, rather I see more of a stylized version of your work. That is probably due more to now knowing Obelys until now rather then the piece on its own. I can tell its very different from your normal stuffs~

Yes it indeed took a really long time to finish it. And yep, I can understand why you might think so ^^ , Alice focused more on the gesture and composition, while it was me who has detailed the characters, so perhaps the way their faces are rendered remind you a bit of my work... which wouldn't be wrong to think. xD
Alice was such a sweetheart and was very kind to me whenever I had any uncertainties about the piece, or had some time issues on my side.
All in all, I am really happy with how this turned out ^^
