I had a dream that I was at an air show. I was on he ground, on a field, with a few people. And planes flew by and we were cheering them on. These planes that flew by didn’t exist, but I couldn’t remember what they looked like, except ONE.
This plane was the clearest thing I remember from that dream. A plane similar to the B2 Spirit, but yellow and It was HUGE. Unless it was my perspective that tricked me. The thing looked like it was bigger that a 747. But hey ‘twas just a dream.

It was your choice of color and the composition in this image that caught my attention. I was instantly reminded of the N9-M Flaying Wing which I had seen fly at least three times at the Chino Air Shows in the past. Unfortunately, the mostly plywood test aircraft built in the late 1940s crashed and burned last year, killing the pilot, and a recognized relic of Aviation History was lost.
However, Dreams are the beginnings of reality. All one needs is a plan in between, to make them come true.
I especially appreciate the chipping paint details and the "Wasp" logo on the Starboard wing.

Ah. I must confess that I based my appreciation of Aircraft design by building scale models of flying machines through the ages, and doing lots of research from books to get my models to look just right. So far, I have only built two balsa and tissue model aircraft that actually flew, So I'm not that skilled in that field myself.
