Ooof,... I love the tension in this image, her wonderful expression, and of course the top of those lovely hips of hers as the sand hugs around them. A great follow up image,... but I can't believe the pushing down on the surface thing didn't work,... that usually works, right? ; )


I love the look of tension in this piece so much,... her posture, her expression,... both straining and worried,... and that wonderful depth, with the top of her hips sticking up from the sand. The tension is truly accentuated by the tremble lines around her arms and chest, giving a great sense of her straining to try to push herself up from the sands,... that usually works in these kind of pictures, right? ;) The sand really looks great in this as well, the surface maintaining that deceptively dry solid look to it, while the crater around her clearly shows its true hidden treacherousness, as she sinks deeper in. I love how it looks clinging to the top of her hips, furthering the dry look of it, and of course that little splotch in her belly button, further showing off her struggling. All in all I think this really came out beautifully. :D
