Thats horrible :/ at least think of it this way he's not suffering anymore from anything. He's prolly happy now that he doesn't have to. Finding a pet dead is bad, watching them die is even worse. My condolences over your losses bro. Feel better soon. Just don't try to feel too bad over this
To loose a friend is always a burden of the heart, but take comfort in knowing that during the time he was with you, he gave of you his compassion, his companionship and his tenderness as any beloved feline friend would that loved his owner.
Somewhere he awaits you, in a green field of grass, warm gentle breezes and cool shade under trees that give such comfort without a thought for nothing but the pleasure it provides. Across a bridge upon a river of silver and sunlight, where all pets that are beloved by their original owners await to greet them again when one leaves this world for another. There, they are happy, content and have the fire of youth, energy and life that we all knew in them when they were with us... and they remember us as well, and await paitently, no longer suffering old age or injuries, and remember too the good times that were shared between them and those that gave a home when they had none.
They know we hurt for their loss, but they visit us in dreams under the stars and manage a tiny presence when we feel lonely, they know they are loved and will wait till the end of time for a chance to cuddle up against us again when we shuffle off this mortal coil to something new.
Take heart sweet one.. your beloved companion misses you and knows you miss him, and he loves you as dearly as before, and in your dreams late at night he will visit you from time to time and help you remember those wonderful times when you shared your home, your food, and yes, especially, your lap with his furry self, and he truly knows that in that field of dreams, he will never ever hurt or be lonely with your memories to comfort him as well.
