Yay for Watership Down stuffs! ~whoo

Watership Down was a great movie the cartoon I didn't like that much.

Rabbits never looked so scary

Great joy went to great sadness.

Rabbits. do. not. have. pawpads.

Could not favorite. Sorry.

Does it matter? Can you not like it purely for the artistic expression?

It's usually the first thing I notice. It's like gauging how into the material the artist is. When I see pads on a rabbit... especially ones from Watership Down I just get this feeling that the artist doesn't know the material well. Too many artists try to give rabbits dog or cat paws and it really isn't giving the rabbit form it's individual justice. I do want to like it, though.

I have read the book, I own it infact. I have seen the movie. Thing is, I read it in middle school, and watched it as a child growing up. Its just a part of my life. The art is a few years old, and If the book or movie addressed the issue of pawpads, I apologize. Im terribly aware of the fact now. Since it seems to become an issue whenever I post this. It sold at Dragon*con a few years back, maybe the buyers are now getting the same grief.

Normally I dont engage in comment disagreements like this, I am only trying to explain myself, not start an argument or anything.

Hey I like the composition and the colors very much.
What does "not canon" mean here? I am not a naitve speaker so - well that's the problem.^^#
And what is your reason for that?

"Canon" as far as I know, means correct according to the original material.

A few folks have commented that Hazel isnt much of a fighter. However, I didnt want to change the title, because I like Hazel. But they are right, he wasnt much of a fighter.  leopreston has a nice take on it though, and thats how I feel about it as well.

So, to avoid feeling sad everytime someone points out that it isnt Canon (which I got last time I posted this a year or so back, or that rabbits dont have pawpads, oops.) I am just stating it so that none of the fan base feels offended on Richard Adams behalf.

Personally I like it and very much so. The composition expresses how the two differing warrens feel about each other I think. Well done! :)
