And here's the next 'wolf' picture from
CanFurence, this one done by
SandySchreiber, of a wolf who may be dressed well but who is also ready for a fight.
(Main Gauche is French for 'left hand', as well as a reference to a fighting style involving using a sword in the main hand and a shorter parrying dagger in the other. Since I was going French anyway, just decided to make the whole title 'Wolf with the left hand'.)

Hee! 2Paw is a Southpaw 2Paw, like I am IRL, and part of his combat training has involved a matched set of weapons and techniques he has often referred to as 'Klaive & Glaive', using a heavy, metal ceremonial-combat parrying 'glove' on his right handpaw and his grandmother's inherited bladed weapon, a Short Klaive named 'Lion's Foot' in his dominant left hand. And of course, if your opponent's focussing on your sword long enough to pause his or her attack, a good, swift punch from the glaive-hand (improved, of course, with a set of trunk and arm muscles that are strong enough to pick up a small moving van) to the chest or head, can often end a fight before either combatant gets a solid flesh-cut or puncture.
Either way, I will always be happy to be my Star-Goddess Cat Heart-Warden's 'Left-Handed Wolf'. :)
