This is what I've really been having fun with in my tribute to Woodstock's 50th Anniversary - the performers, Anthro-style!
1. Richie Havens as a hound dog, to match that mournful, baying voice.
2. Ravi Shankar as an elephant - I swear it's not just because he's Indian; he just had a smile that made you think 'size.'
3. Arlo Guthrie - somehow that cover of Alice's Restaurant made me think 'Otter.'
4. Joan Baez as a doe just suits that crystal-clear voice.
5. Country Joe McDonald - he was a little guy who sang very angry songs, it seemed fitting to make him a tough, angry little squirrel.
6. Carlos Santana - this one was extra fun! The coyote just fits that rough-around-the-edges style of his music back then.
