Dyani Ref Sheet (Personal Character)
I have been pretty much hooked on deer for many years now - I'm attracted to them as animals and have a growing collection of anything to do with them (including plushies, which are difficult to find!)
Since this interest began I have also been trying to put together my deer character Dyani, an antlered, fawn spotted doe. I have a multitude of doodles of her, but for whatever reason never followed through to coloring any - the biggest reason probably being that I find deer very difficult to draw and was unsatisfied with most of my drawings.
So, after all this time, I finally decided to sit down and actually draw out a reference for her, to see her in full color and finalize a lot of things I was unsure of. This is Dyani in her final state, and I have to say I'm very pleased! You may be seeing more of her around, and I'd like to finally start commissioning some art of her.
The cardinal friend mentioned is a little bird that sometimes follows her: http://www.statesymbolsusa.org/IMAG.....nCardinal2.jpg
Just as a note, while I do consider myself very connected with Dyani, Ravyn has always been and will always be my 'fursona' =3 (and I do plan on making a similar ref sheet of her in the future as well!)

Deer really are lovely animals. I see them quite a lot in the fields behind my house, and I'm always struck by how elegant they look, especially the does. You've really managed to capture that elegance with this character, too, in both her quadrupedal and her anthro forms. And I love the idea of her having kept her spots! I think they make her look really pretty.
I was gonna say a few things but reading some of the comments it looks like it's all already been said.
Though one thing that hasn't been said, and is as true as always, is that your artwork has and continues to be my top favourite style out of all the artists I've seen and watched. I hope I don't say this too much but you're my favourite artist on this side. Your art is so soft and yet clearly defined and very well done with tones and everything. It's just... awesome. [/lost for words]
My only suggestion about this image is, if you have the time and like the idea, could you draw her in some of the outfit genres you've mentioned in the reference? While she does look cute you've got me interested in seeing how she'd look in different outfits, particularly a western female sheriff or something, I think she'd look very good in (I know that's not one you mentioned but for some reason I think she'd really fit well into a western outfit). ^^

Perhaps, but I imagine them as just having the hard bit on the front joint, leaving the rest of the finger able to move - something like this I suppose http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2638486/
Either way, it's better than just having stiff hooves for hands ^.^;

I really like this :3 Very pretty.
I noticed you're not open for commissions right now, but could you tell me a price for ref sheets, if you take them as commissions?
I have a winged deer character I'd love to get drawn, and your style is my favorite that I've seen so far.
