I've been thinking a lot about River's job and how it would likely end up being illegal and she'd get banished from Goldring and perhaps even Outring. But here she is featured with her mane cut off as a "welcome gift" from the agudner's of Outring when she is banished. I haven't formulated her whole story yet, it's a work in progress of course. But this was an idea that I wanted to get down.
