So I went to see the new Lion King movie a few weeks ago, and needless to say it was terribad. Horribawful.
Hence, I needed to draw this classic crush of mine. It was... very therapeutic.
And with today being my 25th Birthday, and my sign being Leo, I couldn't think of a better time than to post something BIG~
Absolutely love this King of Corpulence, and now here he is, showing off like the fatass sass-cat he is~
First time in a long time for me to create a fully detailed background like this. And I'm extremely happy with the final turn-out.
I'd love to devote more time to these, but it'll be a while before I can do another elaborate piece like this. ^.-.^;;
Anyway, a supremely soft Scar for all y'all! Enjoy!~

Well, I remember still when you drew Shiny for the first time and that already looked way cool in my book. But recently one can see how far you've come when it comes to painting. Like with the artworks you did for kygen or for gillpanda, I think you deserve lots of praise definitely, and I'm glad that you get along so well with many of the people that you admire for their talents. ^_^
Honestly I saw the trailer of that version and good God, that's when I said "The animated one was better" and end of discussion. I even rejected three times to watch it with my family. Now all the lions in that movie look the exact same. "Duuuuh it has real animals this time duhhh" said my mom. And I told her "As if I care, I won't watch that horrid movie" not even under the pretext of "We're family and we have to share". I'd share anything that's not that abomination.
Now regarding this artwork. Oh man I missed big fat Scar a lot. Even if he only got to be antagonist in the first one I'll always consider him one of the best lions in the franchise period. And involving him in things like fat always warm up my heart. You really made my day !

Honestly, regarding the movie. You're not missing out on anything. Just watch the original and you'll have the exact same experience-- actually no, you'll have a way better experience.

I doubt it, honestly live action animated tlk never attracted me since the first trailer so I doubt it'll interest me anytime in the future

Good God damn dude, that is some sexy fat lion butt. Likeness is perfect, colors are perfect, the way he's just this boulder of fatness is great though. That huge THICK ass back blubber is delicious, and you've given him an impressive rear end, love how the tail is just plugged in between all those pillowy mounds.
I'll take it as a compliment that you thought my work resembled Hector's to such a degree, but I'll clarify anyway.
In fact, no. I did not, nor would I ever steal art from anyone. Especially someone I admire so much. Hector's one of my closest friends actually, and even if he wasn't, I still wouldn't go around committing acts of theft because that's a horrible thing to do. And obviously I do not condone it.
