Having lived a good bit of my life with cats, I know my place.

I used to have 3 cats at one point. Two of them were always fighting and they basically couldn't stand to be in the same room together. Not even to eat. One would always wait till later to eat if the other got to the kitchen first.

Anyway, I've always considered my cats to be my owner not the way people usually think. So I often thought the two cats that were always fighting were fighting over me. I was the pet and they wanted exclusive rights to the property. No sharing of assets. If anyone wonders if cats have emotions then pride and jealousy are at least two of them.
