So she lets it stick half its claw down her throat, realizes it doesn't, and resolves to spend as little time as possible tasting the rest of it.
Theoretically, it could still pull her into its mouth - she's pretty light when not swallowing you - but all it takes is a well-timed gulp to throw it off-balance and give her access to the rest of its body.
Fighting a hammerspace dragon is pretty straightforward: if you get caught, you lose. If you don't, you win.
