This was a wedding gift for two friends of mine.
The woman was married before, and has a young son, and together the happy couple has made a new baby boy. That's why the two cubs look to be different ages.
This china painted platter took many fires to create, but it was worth it.
Note the shadow spots on the black leopard!

It takes a bit of practice, since every layer of color has to be fired by itself. These paints don't dry.
But, it's a lot of fun. You should see my flowers and fruits!
