Any Way You Want
Hearing the low bass of the club music was an odd feeling even after all this time. Luso had gotten used to a lot of new things in the last three years since his miraculous transformation into a turian. He had gotten used to his new body, new point of view on the world around him and on the human-sized walkways he used to frequent. He got used to his new identification and even the way some humans would look up at him in awe. But somehow the sensation of a remote private booth in a club and the distant noises of activity drowned out by the music still managed to remain fresh; energetic yet relaxing at the same time. Luso liked the way it made him feel.
He looked across the table from himself where his brother Titus was finishing his third cocktail for the night. “You sure you’re going to be okay?”
“I told you Luso, it’s fine. You don’t get far in the military if you don’t know how to handle a drink or two.”
“It is your third though.” Luso pointed out with a chuckle earning himself a long look followed by a reassuring pat on his shoulder.
“Well we can’t all sit there nursing our first for an hour, you know.”
“Heheh… I suppose you’re right.” The former human smiled. “I’m enjoying myself though. Having a good time just thinking about how far I’ve come since you…” Luso cast his gaze downwards, eyeing the azue blue liquid in his glass for just a moment. “You know.”
“I agree. You really have come a long way, haven’t you?” Titus laughed and reached over the table and flicked Luso on the forehead. “You’re still my little brother though.”
“Hey!” Luso exclaimed incredulously as he rubbed the spot. “Well I suppose you’re not wrong though. I may be a bit taller now but I still look up to you, Titus. I think I always will.”
“You’ve been doing much better for yourself on your own too though! And more importantly you’ve just been… smiling a lot more, especially in the last few months.” Titus pointed out with a gentle smile of his own.
“Yeah… Destus has been helping me out a lot. I remember how much it surprised him when he found out that his new turian co-worker was actually the little human he had scared half to death.” Luso chuckled softly. “But he quickly took to it and ever since then he’s become… not protective but…” The younger brother rubbed his chin in thought. “Respectful, I suppose? I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this but he actually asked me out a couple of years back, said I’m a nice guy and he likes me but…” Luso got quiet. “I just wasn’t quite ready for that sort of commitment yet.”
Titus nodded, taking another few sips from his glass. “I’m glad you took things at your own pace then, Luso. Last thing you needed at the time was a heap of romantic confusion.”
“Hahah! That’s actually what Destus said too!” Luso laughed and took a sip of his own finally knocking his drink down to the halfway point. “And well… We’ve been great friends since then. Hanging out with him has been a great boon to my state, I think. It’s just sometimes he…” Luso’s gaze fell on the drink in his hand again as images of the past rushed to mind. He quickly shook his head though, chasing them away. “Well he does the thing most non-humans around the citadel do from time to time.”
Titus nodded knowingly but remained silent.
“I still don’t get it. Why would anybody want to put themselves in a position like that? To be stepped on? Eaten?” Luso trembled. “I spent my whole life wishing I could get away from it all and they just-“ The former human shuddered again when he felt his brother’s touch on his shoulder.
“It’s okay.” Titus said, trying to calm Luso down, almost out of habit.
“No, no please… I’m fine.” The younger brother assured with a smile. “It’s just… well I guess it’s just not something I’ll ever understand.”
“And that’s alright too, no?” Titus suggested. “I mean… people have drastically different values from one another. Maybe those little guys just feel… safe in the hands of a big caring turian?” Titus proposed. “I’ve certainly seen a few fellows like that in my time.”
“M-maybe…” Luso offered half-heartedly as he gulped down some more of the drink in his glass. “And I mean… It’s not like I blame any of them for it… It just…”
“Shh… It’s okay, little bro. You don’t have to justify this to me or to anybody else.”
“Thanks, Titus.”
“Anytime.”
---
The blaring sound of an alarm clock roused Luso from his restful slumber as he shifted in the bed. With a great deal of effort and a big lazy yawn he forced himself out of bed.
“Morning, Luso~” Came the call for the kitchen as Titus, ever the early bird was already in the kitchen making breakfast for the two of them.
“Good morning!” The tired turian responded doing a few quick stretches and heading to the bathroom to get himself in order.
Just like every morning for the last three years a handsome turian greeted him from the mirror and just like every single time before then it made Luso smile. It had been a bit of a hassle at first getting used to even just his new mouth, to simple things like drinking, eating and brushing his teeth… But Titus had been there to support him every step of the way and now few would be able to tell Luso from any other turian on the Citadel. He did however keep just a few habits and mannerisms from his old form.
Passing from the bathroom into the kitchen, Luso threw a glance at what used to be his room, a small installation built into the wall beside his brother’s bed. They really should have put something else there by this point but neither of them ever even brought the subject up. Despite how trying Luso’s old life had been, he wasn’t about to forget his origins; that room was a memento of sorts, a reminder of what allowed him to get where he was in life.
Luso loved spending breakfast time with Titus. The two turians would share a bite as they watched the latest news and discuss them. Even though he didn’t have to, Luso would always wake up just a little bit early to see his brother off, taking the extra time afterward to relax a little bit before heading to his own job at the gunshop.
“Smells like bacon!” Luso noted with some excitement as he appeared behind Titus and began serving the table for the two of them.
“You bet!”
---
Once Luso arrived at work he quickly got into the spin of things, just like he usually would. He exchanged a quick but warm greeting with Destus and got to work. A constant stream of customers kept him occupied and focused; he had barely even noticed the time passing until he suddenly heard his coworker calling out for him.
“Hey Luso! I’m going out for lunch today, wanna come with?”
“N-no, thank you Destus. I’ve still got a few things to sort out here at the kiosk and I packed my own anyway.”
“Heheh… Suit yourself, little guy. I’ll see you in an hour.”
Luso chuckled and shook his head. Just because Destus was a few inches taller, the bastard still called him all sorts of nicknames. Not that Luso ever minded of course; if anything, he found it kind of endearing.
---
Destus smiled as he saw a human approach him during lunch. “Oh hey! Looking for a stomach to fill, little bite?” The turian would ask, leaning over and flaring his mandibles to flash the human a somewhat carnivorous grin. He would have made sure to keep gestures like that to a minimum if Luso came with him, but since he was alone he could allow himself a little bit more fun.
“M-maybe!” The little fleshy thing responded as he took a seat at the small table atop the one Destus’ occupied. “I’m… not really sure yet.”
Destus let out a warm chuckle, and immediately backed off, sitting upright in his seat and winding down his intimidating aura. “That’s okay, little guy. You don’t have to commit to anything you don’t feel like.” The turian assured as he shoveled another spoonful of soup in his mouth. “I’m Destus.”
“George.” The little guy nodded in response, ordering himself a sandwich using his omni-tool. “It’s nice to meet you Destus, I uhh… uhm…”
“Take your time little thing, I’m well aware of what you lot usually approach my kind for. I don’t mind.”
“Thanks.” The little guy responded meekly as almost immediately the salarian waiter arrived with his sandwich and set it down on the puny table with two fingers.
“So what’s your poison? If it’s not getting eaten, you’re probably looking for fun that’s a little less permanent, right?”
George flushed beet red and after a moment of hesitation shamefully nodded. “I… Couldn’t stop staring at your b-boots.”
Destus let out a chuckle as he looked under the table, wiggling his toes and smirking before turning back to the little guy in front of him. “Is that so? You wanna get a closer look then?”
George nodded, quickly and quietly.
“Well I’ve still got half a shift to go but if you don’t mind keeping a low profile under the counter, I wouldn’t say no to you tagging along, little thing. You’ll just have to stay quite so nobody notices you, alright?”
George pondered about it for a moment. If he committed to that he’d have to stay under the tuyrian’s feet for the rest of the day.
“Oh and if something goes wrong just tap on the side of one of my toes and I’ll lay off.”
George was a little surprised but after just a moment of hesitation responded with a series of rapid enthusiastic nods.
“Well eat up then, little guy. Because for the next few hours the only thing you’ll be getting is a faceful of turian toe.” The turian laughed and winked at the human, watching the little guy digging into his sandwich.
---
George moaned as he looked up. He knew he wasn’t supposed to be there, the enormous alien didn’t even look down at him after making sure he had landed underneath the counter alright. Nobody would ever even know he had been there, at the foot of this glorious titan.
The little guy watched as idly, as if without evening meaning to, Destus’ massive feet would free themselves of their stuffy prison, revealing a pair of glorious twin-toed feet. The little guy would gasp at the sight of them, rushing closer only to find himself effortlessly pinned down underneath one of the toes. He’d moan and squirm, living out his dream as up above Destus resumed business as usual: chatting with the customers, talking about pros and cons of various gun models, exchanging an occasional look with the other turian working there… All of that was above George at that moment, all of that was something the little guy didn’t have to worry about. His only purpose for the rest of the day was to remain exactly where he was and keep on doing exactly what his heart told him to do.
George would massage and lick at the massive foot, pleasuring its titanic owner as he idly moved the appendage around on top of the little guy. “God… This is… just the best…” The tiny mouthed quietly knowing nobody would hear even him. He wouldn’t care much even if they did though, all that mattered to him at that moment was the slightly sweaty appendage that resided on top of him, its potent musk, its perfect shape…
He could spend the rest of the day here without hesitation and luckily enough that was exactly what he had signed up to do.
---
As the day went on Luso would give the occasional odd look in Destus’ direction. His co-worker acted normal enough, but Luso could tell something was a little different about him today, he looked… more smug than usual, which was impressive. He wondered if it was because he had eaten a human during lunch or something but somehow he doubted that was the case. Destus wouldn’t feel quite this smug about just eating a human. It was only when the day rolled to a close that Luso would get the chance to walk over and ask what was up exactly.
“Hey Destus? What w- WHOA!” The turian was taken aback in surprise when he saw a small, red-faced, moaning heap of a human beneath his partner’s bare foot. “Wh-what the heck Destus?!” He gave the smug turian a disapproving glare.
“Relaaaax Luso… This guy practically begged me for this. Don’t ruin his fun.”
Titus’ words echoed in the former human’s mind and he let out a sigh. He eyed the little thing, too blissful to even notice the two giants conversing up above.
“Hey George!” Destus would call down, poking the little human’s stomach with one of his meaty toes, making the tiny thing release a noise that was oddly reminiscent of a squeaky toy. “My friend Luso is worried about you, you okay down there?”
“Ne… never better… Oh my god… Never better.” The little guy responded between heavy breaths as his eyes finally focused on reality. “Destus I… Can we… do this again… sometime?”
“Heheh… Sure little guy, but only if Luso doesn’t mind having you here~” Destus responded throwing Luso a ‘told you’ look.
“Mr. Luso! Please! I… I don’t remember the last time I felt this wonderful!” The tiny exclaimed, probably assuming Luso was Destus’ boss. “May I come hang out down here again? I promise I’ll be quiet! Nobody will even know!”
Luso frowned a little at the sight but couldn’t hold back a chuckle. The little guy really did seem to be having an absolute whale of a time. “Uhh… Sure. I don’t mind, George. If that’s what you wanna do, feel free to come hang out with Destus and his uhh…” Luso cleared his throat. “...feet.”
“Heck, maybe all three of us could come over and continue the fun at my place?” Destus suggested with a smirk.
“Really?!” The little human exclaimed. “I’d love that!”
“And maybe…” Destus continued. “If Luso doesn’t mind too much you could take a look at his feet as well, show him how much you’re enjoying yourself down in front of them?”
Luso’s eyes widened at the suggestion. “Wait, hold on just a se-“
“I’d be love to!” The meek voice of the human came from below. “I’d love to show Luso how much I love his feet too!”
“Destus, I… I’m not sure this a good… hmm…” Luso frowned and grabbed hold of his chin in thought, one of his old human habits. “He… really does seem happy though…” He mumbled. “Well… Okay, little guy. But... only if you really want to.”
“Hahahah! Of course, Mr. Luso!”
Destus patted his friend on the shoulder. “Relax, little guy. It’s going to be alright, I’m not gonna force you to do anything. I just… Well I guess I just want to show you that there really is nothing wrong with letting humans play around at your feet at least.”
“O-okay.” Luso nodded, taking alook down at the tiny human who was trying to get his messy hair back in order. “I think George seems to agree with you.”
---
It was in the early hours of the night that the three of them finally made their way to Destus’ apartment. Luso had been just a little discomforted by what he had witnessed back at the gunshop but he felt much better about it now. As a matter of fact watching George getting a ride on Destus’ shoulder as the two of them chatted excitedly amongst themselves was a pleasant callback to the days when Luso found himself in a similar position with Titus.
As difficult as being a tiny human had been for him, Luso had to admit that at times he would catch himself remembering those good old days with a smile.
“Here we are!~” Destus’ voice snapped the former human out of his thoughts and brought him back to reality just in time to see the door unlocking and revealing a modest, yet extremely tidy apartment. A bedroom, a bathroom and a small kitchen, all kept in orderly fashion with seemingly not a thing out of place.
“Huh…” Luso mouthed quietly.
“Go on in guys, make yourselves at home.” The turian said as he carefully helped George off of his shoulder and onto the small end table beside the bed.
“Thanks.” Luso nodded in response as he made his way inside and after kicking off his shoes took a seat on an armchair in the bedroom. He chuckled as he saw little George making his way over to the edge of the bed. He followed the little guy’s gaze and arrived at his own feet. With some amusement, Luso gave his toes a wiggle and watched as George’s face grew just a little bit more red.
“So… you like them too, huh little guy?”
George nodded excitedly, just as excitedly as he had back at the diner.
“See?” Destus guffawed. “It’s not so bad! And you’re already getting the hang of it~”
“Mr. Luso could I… Could I please get a closer look?” The little human asked.
“Uhm… Sure? If you’d like to.” With hesitation etched in the features of his face, Luso stretched out his legs and propped his feet up on the side of the bed, right next to little George who immediately took a liking to them.
Luso would have trouble holding back a chuckle as he felt the tickling sensation of the tiny human’s hands on his soles. He smiled feeling just a little bit worried as he watched the puny human’s movements intently. “Do you uhh… like them?” Luso asked, feeling a bit embarrassed just saying that out loud. “You don’t mind the smell?”
“They’re awesome!” Came George’s reply. “And I really don’t mind the smell, if anything it… it kind of make me want to get closer. Would it be okay if I… massaged them for you?”
Luso threw Destus a pleading gaze, begging for some sort of support in all this but the other turian just smirked and gave Luso a shrug. “I don’t know man. It’s up to you. You can handle this any way you want, but little George over there sure seems eager, don’t you think?”
Luso looked down, seeing the little human’s face staring right back at him, so happy, so full of energy and childlike glee. Maybe Titus had been right, maybe this sort of thing was a way for some humans to unwind. Take some time to stop worrying about theirs jobs, their livelihoods… To just take the time and allow themselves to be excited little gremlins at the feet of giant aliens.
Luso’s expression softened a little as he realized that. Sure… This sort of thing wasn’t for him, he never would have wanted to find himself in George’s current position, but seeing how happy it made the little guy, seeing just how excited he was by the prospect of just rubbing his feet warmed Luso’s heart. Being able to make others so happy was… a very nice feeling. And so after thinking it over in his mind, Luso nodded, he decided that he didn’t mind. “Sure, little guy.” He said, assuming the role of a dominant alien for once. “Go ahead and explore them as much as you’d like~”
“Thank you!” George exclaimed and immediately buried his face in the turian’s sole, rubbing at the sole with his puny hands, making the alien chuckle.
Destus smiled at this. He didn’t think that Luso would be eating humans anytime soon… or well ever. But it was nice to see him warming up to the idea of interacting with humans this way. “Heh… You guys mind if I join in on the fun?” Destus asked, kicking his own shoes off and sitting down on the bed, sliding his bare sole closer to the little human. “Come on, Luso! Let’s give this guy a good old foot sandwich, eh?”
“Uhm…” The other turian hesitated.
“It’s fine, it’s fine. He’ll love it!” Destus insisted and slid his foot closer to Luso’s, pressing at it just a little and squeezing a number of interesting noises from the human who ended up getting caught in the middle.
“He… really is into it, isn’t he?” Luso gulped as he felt a tiny body squirming against his foot, hearing the soft moans.
“He really is! Look at him go!” Destus laughed again, pointing at the little human currently busy licking away at the giant alien’s foot. “And hey, you could come sit over here.” Destus suggested, moving a little and patting the space beside him on the bed. “Make it easier for the little guy?”
Seeing no reason to refuse, Luso picked himself up off the armchair and lay down on the bed, just beside Destus’. He stretched his legs out, smiling softly at little George as he was presented with four enormous alien soles.
“W-wow… Eheh….. Thank you so much!” The little guy exclaimed as he continued his kinky little inspection.
“Heh… Don’t mention it little guy, though I’m sure Luso here appreciates your gratitude.” Destus responded with a smirk.
The whole affair would go on for some time. Destus switched the TV on so he and Luso would have something to occupy them while the little guy had his fun. And Luso would find himself feeling more and more at ease about the little guy’s interest in his feet. After a while it almost felt… natural. He would never even consider forcing someone down there, but then again – he thought – neither would Destus. And the more Luso thought about it, the more comfortable he became with the idea.
“Hey Destus?” The former human would call out after a while. “You know I… I’ve been thinking about this for a while but...” He paused, gulping as somewhere underneath those boney plates the young turian blushed. “Remember how you asked me if I wanted to go out?”
“Yeah?”
“You’ve been a very good friend to me and I don’t want to ruin that but at the same time… You’ve been so supportive, kind and patient so… If you’d still like to, I’d… be happy to... you know, try things out at least. I know it’s been a very long time since then, so if you don’t feel the same way anymore I understand and… it’s not like I can say for sure I’m ready to commit to anything or not but…” Luso took a deep breath, pausing to let the other turian get a word in but Destus remained silent and attentive, he wanted Luso to finish the thought. “Would you like to… try things out? See how it goes?”
Destus chuckled. “You know, it really has been a while but… Hmmm… Yeah. I didn’t wanna get my hopes up too high since at the time you seemed like you needed a friend more than anything. But I’d actually still like to go out with you, Luso.” He smiled and leaned over, booping his nose against the side of the other turian’s head. “And don’t worry, we can take it at any pace you’re comfortable with. I mean…” Destus nudged Luso’s side with his elbow. “What’s a little more after two whole years, right?”
“Oh come on!” Luso laughed. “But no, really. Thank you, Destus.”
“My pleasure, little guy~” Destus smirked. “So… Are you free after work tomorrow? I know this fantastic sushi place I think you might like.”
“Yeah, totally!” Luso responded, making a mental note to let Titus know about this later. “I’d be happy to join you.”
The two turians smile at each other and then directed their attention back to the little human at their feet. For the rest of the evening they continued grabbing hold of him, pinning him down and kneading him between their feet.
George would be having the time of his life, moaning and groaning in pure bliss even as his body grew a little sore from the treatment it was getting. He didn’t mind at all, he was in heaven.
And eventually all three of them would fall asleep; the two turians hugging onto one another up above and the little human finally getting a break in the shadow of their massive feet, whimpering in bliss throughout the rest of the night.
