Here's the next member of my new team and (younger by three minutes) sister to Andrew, the ever apathetic Jane Baros! ^w^ We see her here enjoying a "Sweet Honey Bar" and just generally acting bored with the world...

She was created cause I felt that munchlax and it's evolution need more love in the PCA verse... enjoy! ^__^

General Appearance: Oddly enough she’s actually rather slim for a munchlax, having a husky or big boned looked to her rather then a fat one. She has a decent build for a girl her age and size, even if she is a bit short for her species like her brother, and isn’t too unattractive... thought she does look a bit tomboyish. She always seems to have an apathetic or bored look on her face and just generally seems uninterested in whatever’s going on around her.

Clothing Style: She has a deep fondness for overalls, having a pair in nearly every color. Her personal favorites seem to be rather worn ones in a deep rusty red color with a dual pocket in the front. She normally wears a short sleeved shirt under them in any number of colors. She’s not really picky about whether the colors match or not… all she cares about is if they’re comfortable.

Accessories: She isn’t really fond of accessories but she does keep at least one keychain hooked to whatever pair of overalls she happens to be wearing at the time… they all are mostly gifts from her brother and she sees no reason not to wear one.

Personality: Completely and utterly apathetic, Jane has never been able to normally reach any emotional extremes. They aren’t sure if this is caused by a chemical imbalance in her head or if it’s just a personality quirk but Jane always approaches everything with at best a mild interest and at worse a decided disinterest, though on occasion she does expression confusion, sadness, anger, and even a glimpse of joy. The only thing she continuously displays is a kind of affection/loyalty to her brother, letting him come sulking to her when he’s sad, helping him when he’s bullied, and willing to help him in her own unique way… though the head pats she gives him every now and then could be understood as anything from affection to teasing her older brother about the fact he’s shorter then her.

History: Born to pro battler Apollo Baros, and restaurant owner and head chef, Cassandra Baros, Jane’s odd conception gave her a few quirks like her brother Andrew’s. First off being the fact she was born incredibly thin and small for a munchlax, something that caused both her parents and the doctors a lot of worry when she was younger, but luckily it didn’t seem to do anything to her health. Her other odd quirk is her personality, or to be specific her seeming “Lack” of strong emotions. Growing up this little quirk all but put a wall between her and other kids her age, who found her creepy and more then a little disturbing. Her only constant companion was her brother… who in truth came to her most of the time cause the latest group of kids who’d been picking on him had chased him off. But like her brother she faired decent or better in both academics and physical activity, noticeably outdoing her brother in the latter, and with some help from her dad she found herself heading off to attend the PCA. A prospect that undoubtedly thrills her… we think…

Fighting Style: Thanks to the fact that her mom’s restaurants main attraction is their berry orchard, which provides them with a vast amount of fresh berries to use in their dishes as well as to sell, Jane is always able to bring one berry with her into battle, as per the “only one held item” rule. She normally brings a sitrus berry with her, both cause it heals and it’s her favorite berry, but she can trade it up for a different type if she feels like it. This becomes an important factor due to the fact that she can either eat the berry to use its ability or use Natural Gift to turn it into a handy little weapon. What makes this more dangerous is the fact that with Recycle you can bet that the one berry is gonna end up being just one of many identical ones. Beyond this standard combo of hers she uses Double Team to compensate for her lack of speed by learning a side step style maneuver to let her dodge attacks instead of out running them. The side step trick also sets her up to give anyone foolish enough to get in close range with her a Body Slam. Her only main problem with all this is the fact that when she does run out of berries in a fight she’s just about doomed.

Miscellaneous Facts: She has a deep fondness for candy bars, particularly the “Sweet Honey Bar”, and is almost always seen munching on one. She also seems to have a never ending supply of them, always able to pull one from a pocket or seemingly out of thin air when she needs one… a talent that freaks her brother and most anyone else who sees it out. Also her brother is the ONLY person she’s ever willingly shared her candy with… everyone else can get their own.

One of the few activities she does actively enjoy is tending to her families berry orchard, she’s developed quite a talent for gardening by doing it… in fact thanks to her help the bushes are actually yielding even more berries then before. That’s something she’s quite proud of… well… about as proud as she can get anyway.

Her Pickup ability is always active; chances are if you dropped it she’ll probably end up finding it… though finding it and successfully getting it back to you are two different things. This has caused her several problems in the past when she’s gotten accused of being a thief or pickpocket.

She has the unnerving ability to stare for really, really long periods of time without blinking, serving to help add to her “Weirdness” factor… and also act as a kind of impromptu Intimidate.
