I've been sitting on this one for a bit, but have been too busy to post it because I've been playing catch up after getting sick last weekend.It's nother commission I asked for from the lovely and talented SkellyDoll  SkellyDoll featuring Dawn and Vern. This time the picture is significantly more SFW, as it features the couple with their clothes on. Although in some ways, this image could be considered a prequel to the other one I commissioned skelly for back in December. SAnyway, it's just Dawn and Vern on a nice little day date at the local ice cream bar, sharing a malted as they enjoy some time away from the pups. I'm not even sure where to begin to praise here as I'm absolutely in love with all of it. The romantic atmosphere, the expressions, the pile of books Dawn's sitting on the make up for the hieght difference, it's absolutely phenominal! Thanks again Skelly! Seriously, you rock.

For those of you unfamiliar, Vernon Hunter is part of an AU series taking place five years after the events of the Zootopia movie, which sees Dawn Bellwether released from prison and trying to make an earnest attempt on getting rehabilitated. Along the way she meets a wolf who as it turns out, was a forgotten childhood friend, and gets wrapped up in a series of terrible events that prevent that keep dragging her back to her terrible past.
