Reo Nagata
"The Wise Mentor"
Age: Unknown (only Reo knows as his lycan blood has kept him alive for a long time)
Height: 7' 10"
Weight: 379lbs of muscle and lycan power
Orientation: Bisexual with heavy male lean (was straight before lycan but living with his old pack he became more open and found he preferred male company to female)
Personality: Strong Willed, Fighter, Loyal, Patient, Understanding.
Occupation: Fighter and mentor to many young aspiring monks and fighters. Protector of his packs village.
Bio:
Much of his life Reo wanted to be a warrior and fighter. To have his accomplishments sung by bards and regaled in stories. Joining his villages forces he went to fight on their lines when he finished training with a village fighter mentor. Fighting alongside other men from his village to protect it from a band of marauders they were willfully unprepared. Mortally wounded he was ready for death to take him but it seemed like fate had another plan for him.
A pack of lycans had seen the battle prefering to not interfere they watched the battle. The alpha of the pack saw Reo and how hard the youngster fought and how he tried to help every man he could that stood by him. This was something he wanted in his pack. Seeing the fight was pretty much over both sides were licking their wounds. He saw that a man was heading towards Reo and it was time for him to act. The alpha charged over to the young man lying on the ground. He grabbed him throwing the young man and charged off into the woods to meet back up with the pack. Once in the woods the pack gathered around their alpha and the young man.
The alpha looked into the young mans eyes seeing he was barely holding on, "You fought hard today and were loyal to the men that stood at your side. I respect that."
Reo looked up at the massive werewolf before him. The wolf had to have been eight feet tall and was so wide and muscular it looked like he could bear hug a bear to death. Reo would have been terrified but looking into the werewolf's eyes kept him calm. "Who are you" *Cough* "What do you want with me?"
"Save your strength. Don't talk only nod or shake your head a little to answer me," The wolf said in his deep powerful commanding voice. Holding Reos arm he looked at him, "Will you accept my gift and become part of my pack? One bite and you will be a werewolf and your life may be spared. There is risk to this as there are three outcomes to a bite. One of us, One of them or not at all."
Reo looked up he was battling to stay awake and aware. Hearing the alphas voice kept him lucid enough to think through his options. It was a risk and he did not have a lot of time to dwell on the decision as he knew he was dying. The young man nodded his head up and down before looking around and seeing the seven other wolves surrounding him. All of varying heights and builds but all clearly loyal to their alpha.
"Good...now this will hurt. We will see how you turn and hope it will be to one of us." The alpha laid Reo against a tree in a comfortable position as the rest of the pack surrounded the area to protect them as this all went down. But to also be ready in case Reo went Direwolf on them. The alpha bit down on Reos arm breaking the skin easily.
The change happened almost immediately as Reo's body began to change. He felt his bones shifting, his muscles growing, fur coating his body as his face shifted to that of a werewolf. Lucky for him he was turning into a werewolf and a very nice one at that as his bite was from a strong alpha wolf.
*almost a century later*
Reo carried with him the memories of his alpha and lover along with those of his former pack. It hurt knowing they were gone now but luck had not been on their side all those years ago. When the pack was at their weakest thanks to an hunter thinning their numbers and wounding their alpha. They had been attacked by a pair of direwolves. The pack tried to run but it was of no use. They managed to take down the two direwolves but it cost the pack heavily. Reo had been the last one standing. Reo held his alpha in his arms as the wolf passed away. In that moment he promised himself and his alpha to get stronger no matter what it took. After the fight he tried to go back to his human form but was no longer able...somehow during the fight he had been marked by one of the direwolves making him unable to revert to a human shape.
He traveled for months to find monks who would train him to fight and how to protect those he cared about. Living in the mountains with the monks was not easy for him. They had a hard time trusting a werewolf especially one as big as he was. He had to work harder then any other monk at the monestary. Never given anything he gave his all to his training and the teachings. Even developing his own style while he was there leaning heavily on his werewolf abilities.
Forty years were spent in heavy training as he worked hard to become a master. Reo pushed himself hard but his nights there were hell for him as he was plagued by nightmares of losing his pack. But each morining he would wake up and worker harder to make sure nothing like that ever happened again. His last ten years at the monestary changed him as he found something he enjoyed doing and that was mentoring young fighters and teaching them what he learned.
After forty years he reached rank of master and made the very hard decision to leave. Shortly after he left he ran into other wolves all of whom had lost their pack or were just lone wolves. A werewolf has a natural need or desire to be part of a pack unless they were direwolves. And quickly Reo found himself as an alpha of a pack of young wolves. Finding a long abandoned town in the woods on their journeys they decided to make it their home. Living lives as wolves in their own town.
Reo was alpha but more then that they called him the Wise Mentor. He had learned so much since becoming a werewolf and was always willing to lend his knowledge to those who would listen. Wolves from far and wide would come to him to learn what they could from him. Some staying and becoming a part of his pack while others would return to their packs with the knowledge of what they had learned. Reo had become a bit of a living legend but he no longer cared about stuff like that. No he had a new purpose and that was to help others whenever he could in the name of his old pack.
(may add more to the story in time or adjust it more to fit the character even better. But pretty happy with it atm)
