So now we reach the moment I've had in my head for a long time.

Recovery and Business
Things really began to settle down after that incident. Although Saya’s family name was trashed for good, most of the family was pardoned as Gregor was really the one behind the crimes and illegal activities to keep the name great. His sentence was life imprisonment while those who had helped him got most of the rest of their years behind bars. Everyone who had been affected by this had been required to go to the court session. For Saya’s mother since she really hadn’t been involved was sparred punishment. However, despite the fact that everything in the house Saya had grown up in, including the vast wealth, and building itself would go to the mother bat. However, Elaine didn’t feel comfortable with having it now that she knew how Gregor had maintained it all these years and kept it. So the mother bat decided to use some of the wealth to help others and to give the home to a good cause. It was turned into a wonderful museum for art and other things. It did really well and was placed under her ownership which suited Elaine just fine. She did however move into a nice house that while large, wasn’t the same as the old one. For most of the servants who had worked for the Alkersts, they worked at this new place. But a few helped Elaine at her new home with cleaning and making sure things were in order.
For the hotel company Nicholas and Saya worked at, the money had been given back to them and they were no longer in crisis. And the security system had been doubled down with some of the best in the world. The investigator who had helped made sure of that. He then took off for another case. But he still kept in contact with Mr. Lance just in case. The boss of Nicholas and Saya was just happy this was over and things could get back to normal even if the trips wouldn’t happen until next year. But the two people who had to be talked about was the bat herself and her fosky boyfriend. He was glad that things were over and that they could put this behind them. Also his plan that he had told her about could finally happen. For Saya, she felt like her past had finally been dealt with. The female opened up fully with Nicholas, with nothing held back. Not that she had already, but Saya felt freed to do so and really tell how it felt to grow up, her experiences with being sent away, and after that before meeting him. The long-haired male listened with open ears, and him talking with her was like therapy for the bat who became happier each day. And that made Nicholas happy for her. That’s all he ever wanted for his girlfriend to be.
Elaine and them also spent time talking as well. One thing Nicholas did say was that someday he hoped that he and Saya could get a house as the little bat deserved to live in a real one, not the apartment they shared. Her mother did offer them some of the wealth she had inherited to help them buy one. Nicholas wasn’t sure if Saya would accept that as it still came from what her father had done. Even if he was locked up, the memories would always be there. Saya also voiced that she wasn’t sure as she felt that way to. Elaine understood but told them if they ever needed help, she could. However, the idea of a house spoke to Saya who loved that Nicholas wanted to give her that. So the couple decided to look around and research to see what there was. The result was finding a wonderful neighborhood that did indeed have some beautiful homes for sell. And it was located within perfect distance to Elaine’s place if the couple decided to live here. And then the two saw the one house that Saya fell in love with right away. The bat knew it was the one for them. Perfect in size with two floors and plenty of room, she could see living in there. Nicholas and her planed carefully as they saw that even though a little help would be needed with buying the place, their job would enable them to own forever. Saya then didn’t mind using a little of the money her mother had to help. Elaine was perfectly fine with that.
Soon, the couple were moved in and living happily. Of course the first night they made love with heated passion. Not that Nicholas and Saya hadn’t after the problem was over, but now they did so to feel the love they had for the other. And now the fosky knew the time had come to put his plan into action. The night for it came and the fosky walked into the bedroom he and Saya shared. She was already ready in her dress. It was strapless and dark purple. The bat turned around to see her boyfriend dressed up for the night in a suit. It was one for celebration. “Hey there baby,” Saya whispered with a smile. “How do I look?”
The fosky smiled and brought her into his arms. “You look so beautiful love,” he told her. “More than you have ever been.” The bat blushed but hugged him back with warmth.
“You so sweet,” the female cooed.
“Come on, shall we get going?” She took his right arm and they left the house.
The place was one of the fanciest restaurants in town and the couple got inside. They talked the whole time, even when eating. But when the meal was over, Nicholas took Saya to the balcony area of this place. It was a beautiful night with the stars out and the air was warm. “What are we doing out here?” she asked.
Nicholas took a breath to steady his nerves. “Well… because I felt this was the best place…” he replied.
“For what?”
The fosky didn’t answer yet. “Well… do you remember when I said I had plans for us once that problem was over?”
“I do.”
“Well… now that we can live like this, that time has come.” Nicholas looked out at the sky and smiled. “This reminds me of when I asked you out. Do you remember that night?”
“How could I not?” Saya asked, hugging him. “It was one of the best nights of my life and the starting of it getting better…”
“And it was for me.” The guy then turned to face her properly and grabbed her hands, looking deep into his girlfriend’s eyes. “Saya… You’re everything I could ask for and want in my life. I feel you have done more for me than I have done for you. I get to wake up every day next to the most amazing and beautiful female I could ever ask for. Everything I do I do to show how much I love you. And now… I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side…”
The male felt the object in his pocket and got down on one knee, taking it out at the same time and opening it. It was a box with a diamond ring that even had small amethysts to match Saya’s natural color. She saw what was happening and her mouth dropped open as the bat began to blush. “Saya Amanda Alkerst… will you marry me?” the male asked. For some moments there was silence as the bat processed this information.
