This is my second Hyena Brigade-inspired costume. It's based on my character of General Penthesilia. I do have a black mane to be more accurate, but I think the blonde mane works really well with my real hair color.
I found most of the parts at the local Goodwill. The shield and sword came from eBay. The mask is the same one I used with the Blood And Bone uniform. The spotted bodysuit also came from eBay, as did the leather gauntlets.
I could not believe my luck when I found first the bodice, then the silver skirt. Then I found a toy shield that looked almost exactly like the one I drew Penny carrying; the lion head is meant to evoke the Gorgon head on the shield of Athena. The sword that came with it is clunky, but it kinda works in this instance, as Penny is supposed to be a huge and brutal warrior.
The alternate title of this picture is, "I Damn Thee, Weed!"
