This is Paela. She is a pangolin, a scaled mammal much like an ant eater. Pangolins are known for their thick scaley armor, as well as a long semi-prehensile tail and equally long sticky tongue.

Paela's back is covered in scaled fur, while her underside is soft human flesh. She is extremely flexible, capable of rolling into a ball in defense. She also has one powerful long claw on each middle finger, for digging through soil.
